For the past year and a half, Indiana Landmarks produced Where We Live, a popular weekly 2-minute radio broadcast that morphed into a blog essay when the money ran out to continue on air. At the end of this August, we posted our final Where We Live essay. (You can find all past entries
by clicking the Archives link above.)
Based on the popularity of the daily features we ran in May (Preservation Month) on our Facebook page, we’re replacing Where We Live with a new blog: Hidden Gems. Each week we’ll highlight a historic Hoosier place we think is worth exploring -- you’ll learn about cool neighborhoods, off-the
beaten-path small towns, restaurants and taverns, and more great places.
We rolled out Hidden Gems in September. Check it out! We hope you’ll post comments and tell us about Indiana landmarks you think qualify as Hidden Gems.
And don't forget, you can always visit www.indianalandmarks.org to learn more about historic places in Indiana.
